• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips rXR=fj= 2  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping {=n-S2%

• Experience:preferable 1 years above LRNgpjE}  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering n^Co  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. <)01]lKH  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field -P"9KnsO  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose ]z5`!e)L  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that sp%EA=: E  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! g *}M;"
