• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects NJ7N*  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips ~c`@uGw  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping M\8FjJ>9  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics E'&UWDh

Qualifications: z(3mhMJY  
• Experience:preferable 1 years above EH]5ZZ[Z  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering sN7I~  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. .7Ys@;>B  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field mhp5}  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose 7vcYI#(2 Y  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that f| 3`8JU  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! < 7zyRm@S
