• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips ID'@}69.S  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping #B`"B  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics jDgiH

• Experience:preferable 1 years above 4p>@UB&U  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering 1.yw\ZC\  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. 8DLR  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field ]ueq&|  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose 9S&6u1  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that MZ+8wr/y  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! )V)4N[?GC
