• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects ,~`R{,N`  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips d\WnuQR[  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping P^#<h"Ht  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics $/ew'h9q  
•Must become member of international network +]*4!4MK6

• Experience:preferable 1 years above X3 D(2W  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering )=V0  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. b/5  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field glbU\K> >  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose 'z0@|a  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that y)X1!3~(  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred :jKDM  
• Good team work spirit and  good initiative Z.Z+cFi
