• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects o&*1Mx<+  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips 7r"!&P*,  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping `]WU=Ss  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics =DE5Wq19

• Experience:preferable 1 years above \EYhAx`2  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering xi;SKv;p  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. ErB6fl  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field aChY5R  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose ,0<|&D  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that

• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred K"Nq_Ddwd
