• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects `x2fp6  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips #:]vUQ  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping 's

• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics C]yvK}

Qualifications: iSOD&J_  
• Experience:preferable 1 years above _u#/u2<  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering Tf9&,!>V  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. PXOrOK  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field h |s*i  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose )W[KD,0+j  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that 5JQd)[Im  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! 3Qqnw{*
