• provide the optical know-how and optical design experience for multi-disciplinary product-related projects 1P4jdp=~  
• build up and maintain contacts with a network of optical specialists and specialists in related disciplines, in particular within Philips but also outside Philips V2%FWo|  
• advise the management about optical matters/ issues and roadmapping :t]YPt
  
• coaching of less experienced colleagues in the field of optics j ij:}.d6

• Experience:preferable 1 years above y1/$dn  
• Bachelor or master degree education, preferably in Physics, Optics, or Optical Engineering 6d,jR[JP  
• capability to design optical (sub)systems for products of Philips Lighting: lenses, collimators, light-engines, reflectors, including color-dependencies therein. y&A*/J4P  
• capability to evaluate, judge and/or re-engineer optical systems designed by others, within the relevant field #OH-LWZh  
• Capability to select right material for optical purpose ,'F;s:WM,  
• Capability to judge the manufacturability of optical design and follow up with supplier to make that DPi%[CRH  
• experience with optical simulation tools, in particular in the non-imaging optics area, like ASAP, LightTools, Tracepro or Zemax Non-Sequential, are preferred ! [X=-x=S,
